Love this blanket, seems to hit the mark for heaviness and breathability for me. I'm worried about the durability though. I washed once inside a laundry bag as recommend and I am already seeing some wearing.I wanted to upgrade from the traditional beaded weighted blanket and I’m soo glad I found this one! I read all the reviews For different blankets and this is the ONEb It also has a carrying case for on the go!This is exactly what I wanted.I was looking for a knitted weighted blanket in cotton or preferably bamboo without any other fillers. They do exist right here in Amazon. Unfortunately this is not one of them. While it claims to be 100% bamboo, it is actually made of a bamboo tube stuffed with polyester. So most of the volume of the blanket is polyester.At the time of this writing the product information failed to mention the filler, which is... Unfortunate.Tl/Dr Wife bought this for me. Overall great, but not sure how long it will hold together due to diffuse pilling after two weeks without even having been washed yet.Bad: Within two weeks there is pilling literally everywhere. The product photos claim there is none which is not only misleading but flat out false. Maybe I got an exception, but that seems unlikely. Product is quite silky so due to its weight it telds to end up on the floor over night if using as a topper.Good: Great weight distribution. Doesn't add heat to my sleep that I can tell and I get hot real easy. Soft and cozy. Definitely the best weighted blanket I've ever used. I sleep really well with this.
