Purchased this unit after much research and I must say it performed very well. My first smoke, a 12lb angus brisket, was done with outside temp in the low teens. I did purchase the insulated cover which I highly recommend. It held temp within 7-9deg the entire time. Plenty of room for any big event you can have. Overall, well worth the money. You will not be disappointedtried to cook and smoke...Only a cover showed up
