When I first got this out of the box I was pretty upset. It looked cheap and was not at all what the pictures showed. But since I hate returning and dealing with all of that I figured I could at least wash it and see if that made any difference. After washing it, it still wasn’t what I expected but it really isn’t bad. It did become a lot softer. So would I buy again? Probably not. But if you want a thinner type of blanket just to put on for extra warmth then it’s ok.This blanket is a weight I can use for our two months of winter and the rest of the year with the A/C going. It was surprisingly difficult to find a cotton blanket that wasn’t a knit or thermal weave my cats would snag in a heartbeat. I’m a hot sleeper and it can be used without a separate top sheet while giving the bed a more finished look than a typical blanket alone would. It also washes and dries well. It checks all the boxes, so I’m ordering at least one more.I live in a very hot and humid place and in the summertime I can't use my regular duvet. My partner sleeps under just the top sheet, but I can't seem to get comfy that way.This blanket has enough weight to be soothing, but it's light enough that I don't get too hot. It's the perfect weight and it's so so soft, like a nice t shirt.We use this blanket with a cotton percale sheet set and it's large enough to cover the entire queen size bed (although we don't use it that way).The blanket is easy to care for with a washing machine and dryer, although it is prone to wrinkling. It's not a problem for us and it helps to put it on the bed and smooth out it right from the dryer. I think if you line dry and hate wrinkles, you may not like it or may prefer to iron it.TL;DR It's a nice blanket with balanced weight and breathability that's easy care, but wrinkly.This is a high quality light weighted cotton blanket. It’s soft and really pretty too.We were looking for a lightweight summer blanket and this was perfect. It’s soft, light and works great for the warm nights.I was surprised by how nice this blanket was! It is very soft and comfortable. Washes up great! I may buy in other colors to replace other blankets.Pros:Feels really soft. Not hot to sleep under. All cotton. Three thin pieces of cotton sewn together. Would buy another. Well made.Cons:More of a seafoam Green than Cool Blue. Runs small so size up. I have a queen size bed and bought a king size blanket and it just is large enough for my bed.None of the claims for this blanket are correct - I chose to buy this because I needed a blanket that was cool, light, and looks good. This is none of those. It's heavy with 2 outer layers and an inner layer, that inner layer wrinkles horrible once you washed it and you can never get it to lay flat again, and it DOES NOT COOL. In fact, this blanket is a heavy warm blanket better suited to winter.Also it is not soft. It's a regular cotton type of material, no softness at all even after 5 washes.If you're looking for a cool blanket, this ain't it.
